02.04.11 Theft of scrap from Cleasby area. 1 arrested and 1 reported for summons for the offence.
05.04.11 A grain silo was damaged on a farm in Barton.
19.04.11 A vehicle was damaged at the Bridge near Stapleton Roundabout.
29.04.11 A car was damaged near Barton Village.

10.04.11 Theft of a mountain bike from Melsonby. 1 arrested for offence.
12.04.11 Damage to allotments and Polytunnels in a property in Melsonby. Items removed from within the Polytunnels.
19.04.11 A property was broken into in Aldbrough St John and keys stolen that were subsequently used to enter outside storage area and a Motorbike was stolen.

06.04.11 Theft of scrap from a property in Gilling West 2 persons arrested for the offence
** In addition there has also been a complaint of parking on the pavement opposite the Angel Inn, Gilling West. People are reminded not to park on the pavement. This has caused unnecessary concern for local elderly residents who are unable to use the pavement due to the obstruction.
Suspect Vehicles
There have been numerous reports of suspect vehicles in the rural area. Please keep reporting anything suspicious to North Yorkshire Police on 0845 60 60 24 7. Your assistance is gratefully appreciated.
